Upcycled Fashion
This project was able to be upproach with some of the little knowledge and practice from sewing in fashion design. At the same time, the practice of screenprinting was also able to be adhered to it from that same class that asked to do this project with a call to action in any area of todays society as it is the problem generated by fast fashion. In fact, the intention of this project was to give a call to action to prevent or stop the overproduction of clothes in our world categorized as fast fashion brands. In a sense, the whole intention was to simply attract people to see that upcycling fashion or utilizing clothes that were already used can help our planet be better by not creating more waste or pollution, between other problems.

Throughout the design process, I worked with two different substrates and selected three shirts as the base for my designs. I altered the sleeves of two shirts and split another shirt in half to create a unique piece that features the word "Remake." Additionally, I repurposed the same design for a poster. Although I initially encountered an error in the process, I chose to embrace it and incorporated the mistake into the final design, adding a creative and intentional element to the work.
